At a time when everyone seems to be wondering if movie theaters will survive, Amazon has the perfect answer in the form of The Lord of the Rings web series The Rings of Power web series.
So lush and beautiful, you could easily spend the first episode just marveling at the scenery as it zips through the lands of Elves and Dwarves, Humans and Half-Foots.
Rings of Power was projected as the streamer's answer to HBO's Game of Thrones and eventually became the most-watched show in the world.
The dwarf cave city of Khazad Dum and the endless sea chasm are fantastic.
The main races of LOTR are coming to the new show, including hobbits, elves, dwarves and humans. The show unfolds in many different locations.
After watching his first two episodes, many were blown away by his visual storytelling, cinematography, and setting of The Rings of Power.
Towards the end of the second episode, things get breathlessly tense and far more gruesome than I expected.
