Page orientation उस direction को कहा जाता है जिसमें की एक document को display या print किया जाता है. दो basic types की page orientation होते हैं portrait (vertical) और landscape (horizontal). ज्यादातर monitors में एक landscape display होता है, वहीँ ज्यादातर documents को print किया जाता है portrait mode में.
एक Document को print करने से पहले, आप चाहें तो बदल सकते हैं page orientation को जिसमें आपको select करना होगा “Page Setup…” वो भी program के File menu से. ये तो आप सभी जानते हैं की हैं की default orientation typically portrait ही होती है, लेकिन आप चाहें तो उसे बदल सकते हैं landscape में अगर आपको जरुरत है की width ज्यादा लम्बी हो height की तुलना में. ये काफ़ी ज्यादा मददगार होता है signs, cards, या दुसरे documents की printing करने में जिसे की एक wide display की जरुरत होती है.
