कंप्यूटर इंजीनियरिंग क्या है और कंप्यूटर इंजीनियर कैसे बने?

Computer Engineering दो शब्दों से बना है Computer + Engineering. जिसमें कंप्यूटर एक ऐसा discipline है जो की Computer और networking से सम्बन्ध रखता है वहीँ Engineering computer hardware से सम्बन्ध रखता है.

ये subject intersection होता है Computer Science और Electrical Engineering की. Computer Engineers उन Engineers को कहा जाता है जिन्हें की specific training मिली होती है दोनों hardware और software में.

ये Computer Engineers कुछ ऐसे products बनाते हैं जिसमें दोनों Hardware और Software की knowledge का इस्तमाल होता है. उदाहरण के लिए mobile phone, play stations, computer और video games. ये सभी appliances विगत कुछ वर्षों से बहुत popular हो रहे हैं. इसलिए इस field की demand काफी तेजी से बढ़ रही है.

कुछ fields जो की बहुत ही unique होते हैं Computer Engineering के लिए वो हैं Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) systems, computing hardware के लिए और ये एक बहुत ही essential components होते हैं computers के लिए जैसे की memories और electronic circuitry, साथ में analog circuits और digital hardware भी.

India का पहला Computer Engineer कौन है?

Vijay Pandurang Bhatkar जो की सन 11 October 1946 में पैदा हुए थे. इन्हें आप एक computer scientist, IT leader और educationalist भी मान सकते हैं.

लेकिन सबसे ज्यादा जिस चीज़ के लिए इन्हें जाना जाता है वो है इनका योगदान Supercomputer को बनाने के लिए. जी हाँ दोस्तों इनका एक बहुत ही बड़ा योगदान रहा है भारत के पहले Supercomputer PARAM में.

India का पहला Engineer कौन हैं?

Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, ये हैं भारत के सबसे पहले Engineer. इनका जन्म सन 15 September 1861 में  मैसूर (कर्नाटक) के कोलार जिले के चिक्काबल्लापुर तालुक में. उन्हें सन १९५५ में भारत के सर्वोच्च सम्मान भारत रत्न से विभूषित किया गया था.

उनके योगदान को देखते हुए भारत में उनका जन्मदिन अभियन्ता दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है.

कहाँ और कौन सा वो पहला computer है जिसे की भारत में स्थापित किया गया?

भारत में सबसे computer का नाम है HEC- 2M, जिसे की सन 1956 में Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata में स्थापित किया गया.

भारत के किस college ने सबसे पहली बार computer science engineering department की स्थापना की थी?

भारत में सबसे पहला Computer Science Enginnering Department शुरू करने वाला Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur है. इसे सन 1963 में स्थापना की गयी थी.

Courses क्या क्या हैं और उनकी Duration कितनी है?

यहाँ पर हम Computer Science Engineering की अलग अलग Courses के विषय में जानेंगे और उनके Duration के विषय में भी.

Courses 12th के बाद

Computer Science & Engineering के पाठ्यक्रम में student को बहुत से विषयों से वाकिब कराया जाता है जिसमें algorithms, programming languages, operating systems, database management systems, computer network, computer graphics और artificial intelligence मुख्य हैं.

Computer Science & Engineering की academic criterion को तीन courses/programmes में बांटा जाता है, जो की कुछ इसप्रकार हैं :

1.  Diploma courses जिसमें की polytechnic diploma करना पड़ता है जो की 3 years duration का होता है.

2.  UG courses जिसमें की B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree करनी होती है और जो की 4 years duration की होती है.

3.  PG courses जिसमें की M.Tech (Master of Technology) degree करनी होती है और जो की 2 years duration की होती है.

इसके अलावा एक और भी higher education होता है जो की है PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) degree इसमें Computer Engineering के advanced level की पढाई के साथ साथ research पर ज्यादा ध्यान दिया जाता है.

यहाँ मैंने कुछ basic eligibility criteria के विषय में बताया है various diploma, undergraduate और postgraduate courses के लिए :

1.  10th standard के completion के बाद, आप diploma courses करने के लिए eligible हो जाते हैं.

2.  वहीँ आप 12th standard के completion करने के बाद fully eligible होते हैं किसी UG (B.Tech) programme को join करने के लिए.

3.  Computer Science & Engineering के field में enter करने के लिए, आप या तो diploma या UG करना होगा, mathematics और science का होना compulsory होना होता है और वो भी qualifying examination में.

4.  ठीक वैसे ही PG (M.Tech) programme को join करने के लिए Computer Science & Engineering में B.Tech करना must हैं.

5.  वैसे ही PHD Program (Computer Science) करने के लिए M.Tech या B.Tech Degree का होना बहुत जरुरी होता है

Computer Engineer की Job Profile क्या होती है?

चलिए जानते हैं की Computer Engineer बनने के लिए क्या समझ रखनी पड़ती है और साथ में इस Job profile में क्या करनी होती है.

1.  उन्हें Computer Science और Electrical Engineering की अच्छी समझ होनी चाहिए जिससे वो ठीक तरीके से उस knowledge का इस्तमाल कर सकें.

2.  उन्हें Digital Technology का ज्ञान होना चाहिए जिससे वो नयी चीज़ें बना सकें, और उन technology में काम कर सकें. इसके अलावा उन्हें computer networking और computer systems के विषय में जानना चाहिए.

3.  साथ ही उन्हें computer hardware, design और software application को implement करने की क्षमता होनी चाहिए.

4.  Hardware और Software designs दोनों में उनकी अच्छी skill और knowledge होनी चहिये.

5.  Computer programming की समझ होनी चाहिए, इसके अलावा computing platforms और applications को effective और efficient तरीके से implement करने की काबिलियत होनी चाहिए.

6.  कोई भी error को analyze कर उसे solve कर सकने की बुद्धि होनी चाहिये. यूँ कहे की एक बेहतरीन Trouble Shooter.

7.  हमेशा latest technology trends और innovations से खुद को updated रखना चाहिए.

Computer Engineers के दो major career options होते है

1) Software Engineering
2) Hardware Engineering.

एक software engineers होने के नाते उन्हें test और काम करना होता है computer programs, applications, network security, mobile और दुसरे computer operated devices के साथ.

वहीँ hardware engineers होने के नाते उन्हें computer systems और दुसरे सभी computer-related components के साथ काम करना होता है. साथ में उन्हें Robotics, Aeronautic design, Wireless networks, sophisticated equipments  (यंत्र ) में काम करना होता है.

Computer Engineering के लिए कौन कौन सी Skills की जरुरत होती है?

चलिए Computer Engineering के लिए जरुरत की सभी Skills के बारे में जानते हैं.

• उनमें Team Work की Ability होनी चाहिये.
• Problem-solving skills
• Determination
• ज्यादा लम्बे समय तक काम करने के क्ष्य्मता होनी चाहिए.
• Logical और systematic होनी चाहिए
• Patience होना बहुत आवश्यक होता है.

Computer Science और Computer Engineering में क्या अंतर है?

जहाँ computer science deals करती है processing, storage, और communication of data और instructions के साथ, वहीँ computer engineering को आप electrical engineering और computer science का समाहार कह सकते हैं.

इसलिए कोई भी degree program को opt करने से पहले आपको अपने preferences के बारे में समझना चाहिए, ये मत सोचिये की आपके घर के लोग क्या कहेंगे या आपके दोस्त यस रिश्तेदार क्या सोचेंगे. ये decision आपका खुदका होना चाहिए.

वैसे सुनने में ये दोनों terms एक समान ही लगते हैं लेकिन असल में ऐसे नहीं होते हैं. इन दोनों के working में काफी फरक होता है. इसलिए लोग इसे समझने में अक्सर गलती करते हैं. इसलिए चलिए इस दोनों के बिच स्तिथ अंतर को चलिए समझते हैं.

Computer science केवल Programming तक ही सीमित नहीं होती :-

सबसे बड़ी जो misconception होती है computer science की वो ये की लोग सोचते हैं की ये केवल programming ही होता है. लेकिन, ये उससे ज्यादा होती है. Computer science को एक umbrella term कहना गलत नहीं होगा. क्यूंकि ये 4 major areas of computing को cover करती है. ये areas होते हैं :

• Theory
• Programming languages
• Algorithms
• Architecture

Computer science में, आपको Data और instruction processing के बारे में पढना होता है, और वो कैसे communicated और stored होता है computing devices में. इसे पड़ने के बाद आप आसानी से data processing algorithms, symbolic representations, techniques को सीख सकते हैं Software writing करने के लिए, communication protocols, organisation of data in databases, इत्यदि भी सीख सकते हैं.

इसे आसान भाषा में समझें तो, इसमें आपको ये सिखाया जाता है की कैसे Computer या उससे जुडी problems को कैसे solve करें. कैसे algorithms लिखें और उनकी मदद से कैसे automatically हमारे problems को solve करें.

जहाँ computer science की undergraduate college programs में, छात्रों को broad range of topics के विषय में सीखाया जाता है जो की allow करते हैं उन्हें multiple areas से चीज़ें सीखने के लिए.

वहीँ graduate studies में, एक specific area में ही focus किया जाता है. इसलिए आपको अपने लिए सही graduate program का चुनाव करनी चाहिये और साथ में college भी.

Computer Engineering ज्यादा applied nature की होती है

Computer engineering को आप एक समाहार बोल सकते हैं Computer Science और Electrical Engineering की. Hardware और Software नॉलेज को combine करने से अब computer engineers सभी computing types पर काम कर सकते हैं.

वो ये देख सकते हैं की कैसे microprocessors function करता है, उन्हें कैसे design और optimize किया जाता है, कैसे data transfer होता है, कैसे software को लिखा जाता है और compiled किया जाता है अलग अलग hardware platforms में.

इसे आसान भाषा में कहें तब, computer engineering से software design और data processing concepts को action में लाया जाता है. एक computer engineer responsible होता है software को run करने के लिए जिसे की एक computer scientist के द्वारा create किया गया होता है.

ये दोनों fields computer science और computer engineer, एक दुसरे के साथ overlap करते हैं बहुत से cases में. जहाँ Computer science theory part होता है वहीँ Computer Engineer में hardware part होता है. इन दोनों के मिलने से ही कुछ बढ़िया नया बनाया जा सकता है.

किसी Computer Engineer का mobile number कैसे प्राप्त करे?

Computer Engineer का Mobile Numbers ऐसे ही आपको Internet में मिल जायेगा. क्यूंकि अक्सर कोई भी engineer ऐसे ही अपना Mobile Number Public नहीं करता है. बल्कि उन्हें contact करने के लिए आप Fiverr जैसे sites का इस्तमाल कर सकते हैं, जहाँ आपको अपने काम के लिए हजारों के संख्या में Computer Engineers मिल जायेंगे.
